A dedicated mini PC ships to your office. It does not activate until Nathan's team enters a one-time activation code. The admin panel runs on localhost -- accessible only from your network. All outbound traffic is HTTPS-only to Microsoft Graph API and Azure OpenAI. No inbound ports. No remote access. If someone unplugs it, the system stops.

Data Sovereignty

Your documents never leave Microsoft. The appliance fetches content via Graph API at query time, generates embeddings locally on the device, and stores vector indexes on the local drive. No Vital document, transcript, or policy is ever transmitted to Launch Maniac or any third party. The AI model runs in your Azure tenant -- your data never trains public LLMs.[1]

Device Security & Access Control

IMEI-based device verification ensures only registered phones can query the system.[34] SMS authentication uses one-time passwords via Entra ID.[29] Per-number throttling and a 90-second cool-down prevent abuse.[28] The admin whitelist controls exactly which employees have access. Unauthorized attempts are logged and trigger alerts. All while being customizable to your security goals.

Exit Strategy

If Vital decides to end the engagement: return the device. Launch Maniac performs a factory reset on receipt, and the activation code is permanently revoked. No residual data on our side. No extended transition. No data hostage scenario. Your data never leaves SharePoint -- it's simply parsed, not stored.
